deciBel Research has an immediate opening for an Information Assurance Analyst in Huntsville, AL.

Position Description:

deciBel Research is seeking an Information Assurance Analyst that has the ability to take complex information and break it down into simple ideas and concepts. Should understand the ideas behind Cybersecurity and know how to implement them, as well as explain these ideas and concepts to a large group.  Additional expectations include the ability to confer with users to discuss issues such as computer data access needs, security violations, and programming changes; ablility to scan systems and networks using Cybersecurity approved tools; and the ability to train users and promote security awareness to ensure system security and to improve server and network efficiency.  The areas of instruction will be focused on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Cisco IOS as well as Army Regulation 25-2, RMF and the currently being phased out DIACAP Process. Willingness to travel approximately 25%.  

Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in related discipline such as Aerospace, Mathematics, Physics, Software Engineering or Computer Science.  Master's degree is preferred.

Experience Requirements:

The successful candidate will possess 6-10 years of professional experience in Information Assurance. Will also have extensive experience with RHEL and Windows and be able to trouble shoot any issues that may occur. Must also possess solid systems administration skills (UNIX/Linux).  Must be able to present to a large group and be professional at all times. Able to handle rapid changes and a stressful environment that will not affect quick decision making in order to keep mission focus. Security+ Certification is also required.

Special Skills Desired:

CISSP or similar certification is desirable. A high degree of self-initiative and willingness to work with multiple entities throughout the organization, with the ability to think fast and improvise on the spot and adapt to change quickly. Prior Military experience is also a plus.

Position Description:

Position Description:
deciBel Research is seeking an experienced HWIL Architect to manage Hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) computer systems. The HWIL systems are configured as representative of fielded operational radar hardware and will support the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) test program. These HWIL systems are representative of the Missile Defense Agency's x-band sensors, AN/TPY-2 and SBX.  The HWIL Architect will assist in the analysis of the hardware products including the design verification and functional performance validation of HWIL systems. Perform cost-benefit analyses to determine the best methods or approaches for meeting the hardware requirements, develop requirements, ensure maximally robust hardware architecture is developed to support the BMDS test program. Position Description:
deciBel Research is seeking a Radar Manager responsible for managing the technical and personnel activities of the deciBel team members working on AN/TYPY2 and SBX radar systems. Primary day-to-day activities will be to lead the engineering team responsible for performing flight tests and ground tests according to the Missile Defense Agency's (MDA) Integrated Master Test Plan (IMTP). Will be responsible for working hand-in-hand with the MDA test organization to make sure that all testing efforts are in accordance with test objectives of the MDA IMTP.  The Radar Manager will be responsible for personnel actions for the deciBel engineering staff performing responsibilities related to these radars, to include coordination with the Program Manager for recruitment, selection, and hiring actions. Position Description:
deciBel Research is seeking multiple experienced operators familiar with operating the Missile Defense Agency's (MDA) x-band sensors including AN/TPY-2 and SBX. This includes knowledge of the Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) representations of these radars as well as fielded systems. The Operator will be required to coordinate on a daily basis with the Program Manager and the Radar Engineering Manager tasking and problem resolution. Will work closely with a team of systems engineers and software developers on the development of a suite of radar models and signal injectors used for element- and system-level analysis and verification and validation. With the results, create a Formatted Event Data (FED) file and send the file(s) to NASIC for further analysis within 48 hours.
