deciBel Research Supports Space and Missile Defense Symposium

deciBel Research was proud to support the 2026 Space & Missile Defense (SMD) Symposium, held August 11–13 at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville. As a long-standing member of the Huntsville defense community, deciBel Research welcomed the opportunity to connect with customers, industry partners, colleagues, and friends while supporting one of the nation’s premier events for the space and missile defense community.

The symposium provided an important forum for conversations about the technologies and capabilities needed to address increasingly complex threats. deciBel Research was pleased to showcase its expertise and engage with the broader defense community on solutions that support the warfighter.

Our team brings more than two decades of experience supporting missile defense and national security missions through: Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis, Sensor and System Test & Evaluation; Algorithm Development, Defense Design and Development, Software Development and DevSecOps, Lab Architecture and Data Operations, and Integrated Digital Environments.

From developing high-fidelity physics-based models and simulations to advancing sensor algorithms and supporting hardware-in-the-loop testing, deciBel Research applies technical expertise to help customers better understand complex systems, evaluate performance, and make informed decisions.

Connecting with the Defense Community

For deciBel Research, the SMD Symposium is more than an opportunity to exhibit. It is a chance to strengthen relationships, exchange technical knowledge, and learn from the government and industry leaders who are shaping the future of national security. We appreciate everyone who stopped by the deciBel Research booth, met with our team, shared insights, and took the time to learn more about our capabilities. We also appreciate the organizers and volunteers whose efforts make the symposium a valuable annual gathering for the Huntsville defense community.

As the space and missile defense environment continues to evolve, deciBel Research remains committed to advancing technology, supporting the mission, and helping our customers turn complex challenges into actionable solutions. We look forward to continuing the conversation—and to seeing our partners and colleagues again at SMDS 2027.
