deciBel Research is proud to announce the promotion of Mr. Tim Lyon to Director, Information Technology. Mr. Lyon has over 20 years of experience in maintaining and troubleshooting information technology and telecommunications systems with 10 years of specialized experience in security and information system management in fast-paced, ever-changing, DoD contractor work environments. In his new role as Director, Information Technology, Mr. Lyon will be responsible for the management of IT personnel along with overall IT department planning and execution.

Mr. Lyon joined deciBel Research in February 2020 as an information system security manager where he is contributing to our CMMC certification efforts. He is very knowledgeable of DFARS, CMMC, and NIST security compliance and regulations to meet or exceed DoD security requirements. Previously, he led teams as an Information Technology Director and Information System Security Manager with Radiance Technologies, CenturyLink, and NASA in Huntsville, AL. Mr. Lyon has a unique able to maintain focus in high-pressure situational awareness security environments.
