Huntsville, AL – deciBel Research, Inc. (as the prime contractor) is pleased to announce that the Modeling And Simulation Contract for Truth Modeling and Elements (MASC-T) Team, Contractor and Government, was recently recognized by the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) for winning the Agency’s team award for Small Business Utilization. The combined Government and Contractor team was recognized for “consolidating over 10 small business contracts and Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) efforts under a single small business contract. They modernized both the Environment States and Effects and Lethality Models for MDA simulations, which directly contributed to success of six hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) test events. The team worked with MASC-T Prime on two key, new initiatives of IR scene generation study and Resident Space Object model development. MASC-T now consists of 17 small and 3 large businesses and is a prime example of how powerful and crucial small business utilization is to keeping the Agency increasing demand for information.”
