INTELLIGENCE, SURVEILLANCE, AND RECONNAISSANCE

deciBel Research provides end-to end intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) solutions to several customers in the Intelligence Community. We focus on the design, development, maintenance, and sustainment of tools used to support tasking, processing, exploitation, and dissemination (TPED) development objectives for data collection assets.

deciBel Research supports the tasking component of TPED development through a specialized Mission Planning Tool that provides dynamic, interactive feedback as the mission plan is developed to support objectives for maximizing available sensor resources while ensuring data is collected on significant targets of interest. Capabilities of our Mission Planning Tool include target trajectory and radar cross section modeling, search volume planning, data collection planning, sensor location planning, object classifier design, resource management, and product generation.

We support the processing component of TPED development through our Data Processing System which was designed to accommodate a substantial increase in sensor-related data volume over legacy sensors. Our Data Processing System provides a processing capability to transform, calibrate, and correct large sets of raw radar data for environmental and sensor-induced effects and outputs the data into a standardized, analysis-ready format. deciBel Research leverages our existing data manipulation and physics-based modeling and analysis tools as the foundation for the development and implementation of processing algorithms, and then adapts and refines them to meet dynamic customer requirements.

deciBel Research provides Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) subject matter experts with experience in the tasking, processing, exploitation, and dissemination of OPIR data to both the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community. Our OPIR experts include system engineers and software developers, as well as former government OPIR analysts. We have been an integral part of the design and development of an Algorithm Bank of OPIR algorithms to provide processing, exploitation, and dissemination of data for mission support activities. To accomplish this, we are leveraging web technologies and open-source software (OSS) technologies.

deciBel Research physicists, engineers, and software development personnel review, analyze, design, and develop tools and techniques to support the use of bistatic sensors within cooperative and non-cooperative environments. These efforts allow us to support various data collection, processing, and exploitation activities for a variety of DoD and other government agencies within the Intelligence Community. As part of our on-site support activities, deciBel Research personnel research and design innovative capabilities in advanced bistatic tasking, collection, processing, and exploitation to accomplish mission objectives.
