deciBel Research makes donation to UAH College of Engineering

Huntsville, AL – The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH), a part of The University of Alabama System, announced that deciBel Research has pledged $90,000 to name room ENG 264 in the Engineering Building. NEWS RELEASE Huntsville, Ala. – deciBel Research, Inc. a Huntsville-based radar system and sensor technologies company is excited to announce that it is now 100 percent employee-owned.  deciBel Research transitioned from a privately held, small business to an employee-owned company through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) effective 1 January 2021. deciBel Research Supports David McKannan Memorial Run

deciBel’s charitable organization, dBGives, was once again a presenting sponsor for the David McKannan Memorial 5K and Fun Run on May 18th, 2019. This run is held in memory of David, a deciBel employee, avid runner, loving father, husband, and brother who lost his battle with ALS in 2012. We are grateful to all that volunteered to support this event and impact their community.

The American Heart Association’s 25th Anniversary Heart Walk was held Saturday, April 13th in downtown Huntsville. The theme for the tent that deciBel sponsored was Silent Disco. Our team participants performed line dances to show how to incorporate exercise in a fun way. dB Gives Hosts LifeSouth Blood Drive in Research Park

dB Gives sponsored a blood drive on January 17, 2019 at our Research Park Office. After donating blood on the LifeSouth Blood Mobile, participants were invited to partake from a table of refreshing goodies set up in the deciBel lobby area. deciBel invited companies throughout Research Park to take part in the drive.
